When we decided, as a family, to move to California from London, I was terrified I would become a suburban soccer mom.
Hence the blog.
It all started at The Beanery (above), a coffee shop with wireless internet connection and a decent cappuccino that became my local when I moved to Berkeley in July 2005 with my husband and two children.
I am Tracey Taylor, a journalist and blogger.
This weblog comprises my musings and observations on life in the Golden State.
Of course I am also a soccer mom — whether I like it or not.
